SATURDAY, March 9  •  4:00 – 6:00 P.M

Join me on Saturday, March 9 at “Women Build 2014,” Orlando Habitat for Humanity’s project.  An extraordinary group of women will build a house for a family in need in order to “address the poverty housing crisis facing 1 out of every 3 rental families in Orlando.”  Jeanie Chiovari, owner of The Hangar Bar & Grille, who has been very excited about the release of Alborada, thought it would make a nice addition to the afternoon to have me read some poems during the “Meet and Greet” event that The Hangar is hosting between 4:00 – 6:00 P.M. that day. When she mentioned that 10% of that day’s sales at the restaurant will be donated toward the project, I was inspired to join her and contribute 10% of the sales of my book that day to “Women Build 2014.”

If you are passionate about good food, good poetry, and the world of good that women can do when they join forces together, I invite you to join us at The Hangar, 2305 Edgewater Drive, Suite H, Orlando, FL 32804, and be part of a great event.
